This Winchester Repeating Arms Co. manufactured blue, white and red cardboard box with the blue shaded shield design contains all 50 rounds of Staynless 22 Automatic ammunition with copper cases and kopper klad bullets and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear. The white portions of the box have turned a light tan with age. This box displays a thumb cut on the right end of the box. "TRADE MARK  MADE IN U. S. A." is printed underneath "WINCHESTER" on the top panel. "MADE IN U.S.A." and the product code "K2279R" are printed below the paragraph on the back panel. The bottom panel states "MADE IN U. S. A." and the inside of the end flaps read "CAUTION! / Dangerous within / ¾ Mile". The copper casings display the "H-10" headstamp and have a couple specks of tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1929 and was produced until circa 1938.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WRA-12.5 WA-2(b) variation. The difference observed is that the back panel states "MADE IN U.S.A." This box displays the shaded shield design and ¾ Mile distance warning on the inside of the end flaps.
